Asking for help is not a weakness
You will be surprised what you can achieve with company
Since we were kids, we have been taught that asking for help is synonymous with weakness and not knowing how to do things independently. In part, we must indeed learn to do things on our own merits; However, there are occasions when it is hard or impracticable to carry out certain tasks or face certain problems that, requesting help, is the last thing we would think of doing.
It happens when we have thoughts of committing suicide, have a serious illness, have no money because we have been fired from our jobs, have depression or other emotional problems, etc.
Sometimes, pride prevents us from asking for help because we have the mentality of: “I can do everything,” “asking for help is for weak people.” Although also tend to feel ashamed for: “what are they going to say about me?” “They are going to scoff!
We are not weak to say: “I can’t take it anymore,” “I need someone to help me,” “I want a hug,” “I need advice for this,” and so on.
The vast majority of men, unlike women, prefer to get away from the rest of the people to reflect and try to find a solution to that conflict when they have problems or complicated situations.
