When a loved one dies in our family, many members lose the enthusiasm and interest in carrying out certain activities regarded as traditions. Examples:

  • You no longer want to celebrate Christmas or any holiday in December; there is apathy to put up the tree and decorate the house.
  • If you used to go on family walks to certain places and in certain seasons, but since that person died, you no longer want to attend those places.
  • You don't want to cook certain dishes.
  • You don't want to throw parties or celebrate any important event, such as a child's wedding or graduation.

And so, we can give an extensive list of many activities that people prefer not to carry out anymore, with arguments such as:

  • What do I do it for? It is no longer a case because such a person is no longer found.
  • I don't see any point in doing such an activity, and it's not the same thing anymore.

It is completely normal for all this to be temporarily lost, but we must not let this get buried and go with our deceased person. Indeed, it will no longer be the same, but it is up to us to refocus all those activities carried out…
