Do not underestimate emotional debts, and they can cause serious damage
You can have other debts besides money
Everyone in life has had debts related to money; we must be here, we must be there. It seems that these debts grow and grow until they crush us.
Now imagine having debts but on an emotional level; those that apparently can be hidden, evaded, and omitted, but follow us everywhere like an annoying mosquito that wants to suck our blood.
Emotional debts are all those issues that we have not resolved and continue to do us much harm: childhood injuries, traumas, unresolved grief (postponed grief), disorders detected, and that is no longer followed, among many other things.
Life will always remind us that we still have pending issues to be resolved, and these will manifest themselves through the so-called “triggers.”
Triggers are those events that make us remember events from our past, which still hurt a lot, cause us discomfort, anger, resentment, and so on.
And let us remember that if an event from our past produces all that we have just mentioned, it is a clear example that this is not healed, and therefore, we are talking about an “emotional debt.”
