Do you forbid or forbid yourself from crying?
It has consequences to repress feelings
Many people feel bad and want to cry to remove all the grief that accompanies them, and suddenly, they hear phrases like: “Are you going to start again?” “Do not Cry!” “You should only smile, so you are forbidden to cry,” and so on.
However, many have no idea of the harm they can do by forbidding someone to cry or forbidding themselves to do so. To begin with, crying is not bad, nor is it synonymous with being a “weak” person.
We are human beings, made up of different emotions, and to say that we have to be happy all the time, is something aberrant because we deny the other emotions that also exist, and we see joy as the only emotion.
Some say that crying is weak and not; Crying is of brave and strong people who have decided to unload the sorrows of the soul because they can no longer handle so much. Above all, if someone cries too much or breaks down, they have endured a lot and have a lot of contained pain.
So if your friend is crying, he does not use phrases like those mentioned above to cut off his emotion … on the contrary: invite them to cry and download everything that is tormenting them.
