How do you Know if You are in a “Fake Relationship”?
Sometimes Love can trick us in many ways
If you’re in a relationship but feel like you’re not getting the love you deserve, John Gottman, from the Institute for Dating Relationship Research in Seattle, USA, explains that there are behaviors that give away if you are with someone who is not authentic or plays on your feelings.
The behaviors reflect all intent, so we cite some that show you are in a “false relationship,” with information from the University of Waterloo, Canada.
- Mocking things that are important to you
- He/She doesn’t give that much importance to your feelings
- He/She tries to stay away from He/She´s friends, and He/She doesn’t relate to yours
- He/She tries to control you
- Does things that make you feel uncomfortable
- He/She don’t agree with the boundaries you set about your sex life
- He/She keep the secrets, He/She doesn't trust you or doesn’t pay attention to the important things
When you are in a fake relationship, you may feel that you cannot speak or act freely for fear of your partner’s reaction.
