Deputy Salma Luévano shaves in protest against said Quadri transphobic

Activists have criticized Congressman Gabriel Quadri, and trans people for posting transphobic tweets from his account and accusations of sexual harassment made publicly against the legislator.

Salma Luévano Luna, Deputy of Morena, condemned in social networks comments by Deputy Gabriel Quadri against the trans community, for which the morena decided to shave the victims of hate crimes in the sorority.

“My sisterhood to my sisters who are victims of hate speech that almost always end in HATE CRIMES… not one more is enough for you Gabriel Quadri, I hold you responsible for what happens to us from now on. Hair grows, lives do not return,” the Deputy wrote on her official Twitter account.

On December 2, Deputy Gabriel Quadri de la Torre was criticized by activists and trans people on social networks after publishing two transphobic tweets from his account. He accused the trans community of wanting to “disappear the concept, identity, substantive equality and women’s rights.”

In the comments, users highlighted their lack of respect for trans people. They recalled the accusations of sexual harassment made publicly against the legislator and former presidential candidate.
