Mommy, Daddy, and brothers issues? The Consequences of not Cutting with the Umbilical Cord
Surely many of you have heard of these terms. We usually tell someone who has “Daddies” or “Mommies” when it is a person who depends on their parents for everything they do in their life, including decision-making. Brothers are a less common term, but they also turn to their brothers for everything.
It’s normal for someone to go with their parents for advice on problems that suddenly come up with them along the way; we all need a guide from time to time. But when this is always and for everything, we are talking about a person who has not matured emotionally.
