Phrases and Behaviors that Victimize You
Today it is very fashionable to be victimized in the face of all those circumstances that happen to us in our daily lives. Dramas and tantrums are part of these behaviors. But what are these? Surely, many of the examples that we will give below will sound familiar to you:
One out of two, you know people who do this, or you might even be yourself.
- “Everything happens to me.”
- “Life is so unfair to me, only this happens to me.”
- “I am such a good person and they always do the same to me.”
- “All men/women are equal.”
- “Everyone hurts me and makes fun of me.”
- “I’m unlucky.”
- “Everyone is to blame for what happens to me” or point out someone in particular.
So we can give a long list of phrases closely related to it. It is true that sometimes in life, we experience bad streaks or situations that seem to be repetitive: they end up affecting us on an emotional level, and there comes a time when we are fed up with more of the same. However, the big difference of this is that people who are victimized are aware that they do it on purpose because they like to cause pity to other people, or they are also manipulative and have these attitudes to get something.
