Psychological therapies, thanatological, and so on. There are many circumstances why people end up abandoning therapies. Deciding to take therapy is not easy, and when a person has chosen to do so, it is because he has “hit rock bottom.” On previous occasions, we have commented that the most sought aid of this kind is women, and although there are men who do, they have been representing a very low percentage. But why do people who have decided to take therapy leave it?

1. They think it is the therapist’s responsibility to work out their lives, but they don’t want to do their part
When looking for therapy, many patients come with a fairly high level of demand, in which they pretend that the therapist will solve all their problems for them at first. But they think that they do not have to lift a finger, do no homework, follow recommendations, or are willing to do anything on their part; they assume that all the work is from the therapist and nothing else.
