THE PACT OF THE CAT AND THE DEVIL

Once upon a time, a woman lived alone with her baby and her cat in a little house in the heart of the woods.

One day, she had to go out, but she was very worried because she didn't want to leave her baby alone, but she couldn't take him where she was going either.

So she looked at her pet and said:

• My kitten, please take care of my baby, I won't be long in coming back

And she left her house.

As soon as the woman left, the devil appeared in the house, and the cat, seeing him, jumped in front of the child's crib without intimidating himself — because it is well known that cats are the only animals that are not afraid of this evil being.
