When Someone Dies
The Tribute
When a loved one who was very loved dies and had a deep bond, it leaves a huge void for those who have to suffer their loss.
Many do not recover overnight and need to live their respective grieving process. Most decide to “mourn,” which is when one moves away from many activities that used to be done before the person died. Some still retain the tradition of wearing black and put a bow of the same color on the threshold of their homes to announce that someone has died.
This practice of the black bow is also used on social networks, especially on Facebook.
A normal “duel” can last up to 2 years (either by death or love breakdown). However, some duels tend to get complicated and can last for years with them.
This is recognized as “Complicated Duel.”
When that special person has left our lives, we get hopeless, we can dive into reactive depression, or if we already have a chronic one, it can worsen. Some people want to die and leave with their loved one. Others lose the guidance of their lives and don’t know what they will do from now on, among many other things.
It is important to emphasize that we cannot live in an “eternal mourning” for the person who died, for that would be a way to kill ourselves in life by becoming…
