✅ Although, indeed, perishing is not something we do every day, it is also true that it happens to many people around the world every day, every hour… every minute.

✅ Why? Under biological and natural circumstances, we die because our cells die. Although the systems by which the human body is made up (like every higher living thing) replace them repeatedly for more than 70 years, they cannot do so for all eternity.

✅ Within each cell, telomeres at the ends of chromosomes contain genetic information that shortens with each cell division. They start their lives long enough to endure several “cuts,” but they cannot do it forever; little by little, the information they keep is lost, within which the instructions dictate to carry out, among other things, cell division and the elimination of oxidizing agents.

✅ One of the most obvious manifestations of this process is aging.

✅ Science is currently working on extending longevity, and some claim that the secret of “immortality” lies in cancer cells… maybe one day we can live more than 300 years.

IF WE ARE GOING TO DIE, WHAT IS THE MEANING OF LIFE?

As the wise Socrates said, “the man who thinks nothing but of living does not live.” Like living, dying is part of the cycle of life; however, in many cultures…
